APPRENTICESHIP

Ontario has Apprenticeship programs for more than 150 trades and occupations in four sectors:
  • Construction
  • Industrial/Manufacturing
  • Motive Power
  • Service
Financial Help for Apprentices:
 
The Apprenticeship Scholarship provides a $1000 scholarship to young people who participate in apprenticeship programs if they:
  • Have completed their academic upgrading
  • Are employed
  • Are registered as an apprentice
Employers may be eligible for the:
  • New $2,000 Employer Signing Bonus
  • New $15,000 Apprenticeship Tax Credit
  • Wage subsidy for on the job training of your apprentice.
