STORE 54 – YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM

Store 54 opened its doors on July 24th 2007 and provides business start up assistance to youth.

For most people, “thinking about starting a business” is the closet they will ever come to being an Entrepreneur. Often this is because questions like “how do I do it” and “where do I get information” are enough to make us “think no more". The TRACKS to Business Program (Store 54) can provide answers to these questions and more. Why not take advantage of this low risk, low cost opportunity for young people who have a business idea and who want to take advantage of an amazing program!

The program offers:

  • An assisted opportunity to start your own business from within “Store 54” a retail outlet located on the main street in Collingwood’s outstanding downtown core
  • 16 weeks free retail space to participants, and the opportunity to make money on sales
  • Help in gaining knowledge and learning from mentors that will be available to guide participants
  • Peer support groups would be established to offer an ongoing business network of support

To be Eligible you must:

  • Be between 15 – 29 years of age
  • Have a business idea and a way to provide a product or service to sell
  • Be highly motivated and enthusiastic to make your business work

The Youth Entrepreneurship Program “Store 54” is funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation!
